Data Protection, Backup, and Security
IT-Central.NET implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data,
including
secure
authentication and encrypted connections. However, no system is completely secure.
Users acknowledge that:
- Data loss may occur due to system failure, cyberattacks, user error, or unforeseen events
- IT-Central.NET does not guarantee 100% data preservation or recovery
- Users are responsible for maintaining their own backups when necessary
IT-Central.NET shall not be liable for:
- Data loss, corruption, or unavailability
- Unauthorized access due to compromised user credentials
- Malware, ransomware, or other cybersecurity incidents beyond reasonable control
Data Breach Response
In the event of a data breach, IT-Central.NET will take reasonable steps to contain and mitigate the
incident and
notify affected users within a reasonable timeframe.
Data Ownership, Access, and Portability
All data entered into the system remains the property of the user.
Users have the right to:
- Download their data in available formats (e.g., CSV or Excel)
- Request deletion of their data
- Access and review their stored information
Account Termination and Data Deletion
Users may request account termination at any time.
Upon termination:
- Data may be permanently deleted after a grace period (e.g., 30–90 days)
- Users are responsible for exporting their data before deletion
